A Harrods-trained tailor on your high street

Our tailor and seamstress work on site, so the person who fits you is the person who sews.

Bring in something that never fitted quite right, or a favourite that's fallen out of use. We'll suggest what suits the cut, the fabric and the occasion. Customers often mention our advice on the right shoes, shirt or cufflinks as much as the fit itself.

Can't get to us? We offer home consultations by appointment, including evenings after 6pm.

Your wedding dress, cleaned by hand

We inspect every dress first, treat each mark by hand, and only press it once we're completely happy with it.

  1. Inspect. We check the fabric, the beading and every mark to choose the right treatment.
  2. Treat by hand. Stains are lifted by hand before the dress is cleaned.
  3. Clean and check again. We re-inspect after cleaning and repeat anything that needs it.
  4. Press and box. Hand-pressed, then boxed in acid-free tissue if you'd like to keep it.

We alter wedding dresses too, including second-hand ones.

Went to Stitch & Clean to get a dress altered, and they were able to fit me despite my very last-minute notice which was so helpful. Amazing service, I was even suggested shoes that would go nicely with the dress.
